City-Wide Clean-up is Saturday, June 12th

Waste Management has been contracted to provide curbside clean up for excess waste for Kilkenny city residents. Items can be set out near the curb starting on Sunday, June 21st .
The regular garbage and recycling truck schedule and pickup will remain the same as usual.

General Non-Hazardous Household Waste “Junk”
Furniture items (Couches, Chairs, Tables, Mattresses, Box Springs, etc.)
Small amounts of Re-modeling materials (Siding, Dried out paint cans, Drywall)
All items should be boxed, bagged or contained in some manner

Batteries (Includes; auto, flashlight, etc.)
Chemical Products (Includes; herbicides, pesticides)
Fluorescent Tubes and Light Bulbs
Hazardous, Industrial, Infectious Waste

Oils, Oil Rags (Includes; any type of oil drilling waste)
Radioactive Materials Naturally Occurring (NORM)
Tires
Yard Waste (Includes; grass clippings, tree and shrub waste)
Waste Management has complete authority to accept or deny any item. Any remaining items left on the curb after the clean up must be removed and disposed of properly.
Free food distribution for all Le Sueur County residents on June 19, 2020 from 10am - 12:30pm at the Le Sueur County Fairgrounds.
Drop off your homemade face masks between the hours of 10am and 2pm on Saturday, April 25th to the Kilkenny Fire Dept.
Masks are being collected to distribute to the places that need them most - hospitals, nursing homes, with emergency personnel, etc.
