Join us for the annual Kilkenny Fire Department’s fundraiser - the Kilkenny Fire ATV Run! Support you local volunteer firefighters and EMTs!

August 14, 2021

Registration starts at 10:00 a.m.

Ride starts at 12:30 p.m.

$20 per ATV/driver - $10 per additional rider

Ride leaves from Little Irishman's Park in Kilkenny

City Wide Clean-up

Saturday, June 27, 2020 starting at 7 a.m.

** CURBSIDE PICKUP **

MUST HAVE ALL ITEMS OUT BY 6:30 A.M. TO ENSURE YOUR ITEMS ARE PICKED UP.

Waste Management has been contracted to provide curbside clean up for excess waste for Kilkenny city residents. Items can be set out near the curb starting on Sunday, June 21st .

The regular garbage and recycling truck schedule and pickup will remain the same as usual.

Acceptable Items

General Non-Hazardous Household Waste “Junk”

Furniture items (Couches, Chairs, Tables, Mattresses, Box Springs, etc.)

Small amounts of Re-modeling materials (Siding, Dried out paint cans, Drywall)

All items should be boxed, bagged or contained in some manner

Unacceptable Items  **Please see attached disposal options

Electronics

Appliances

Asbestos

Batteries (Includes; auto, flashlight, etc.)

Chemical Products (Includes; herbicides, pesticides)

Fluorescent Tubes and Light Bulbs

Hazardous, Industrial, Infectious Waste

Liquid Waste, Paints, Thinners, Removers

Oils, Oil Rags (Includes; any type of oil drilling waste)

Radioactive Materials Naturally Occurring (NORM)

Tires

Yard Waste (Includes; grass clippings, tree and shrub waste)

Waste Management has complete authority to accept or deny any item. Any remaining items left on the curb after the clean up must be removed and disposed of properly.

COVID-19 Face Mask Drive

Drop off your homemade face masks between the hours of 10am and 2pm on Saturday, April 25th to the Kilkenny Fire Dept.

Masks are being collected to distribute to the places that need them most - hospitals, nursing homes, with emergency personnel, etc.

We appreciate your support and the donation of your times and talents to help keep our medical professionals and most vulnerable in the community safe.
